ACappellaPsych is a small recording studio based out of Portland, Oregon. They are a full-service recording and production company specializing in helping a cappella groups around the country record professional albums.
I was approached by the owner, Matt, who asked for a logo design that was fresh, modern, and flat. He has had issues in the past with being able to use his old logo in overlays and thought it looked outdated. This is a personal design, because ACappellaPsych actually recorded my college a cappella group's first-ever studio album back in 2012. I created this design based off of a sound wave from one of our recording sessions, and it perfectly encapsulates the idea of sound in a new and modern way. Matt was thrilled with the new look and it will be rolling out in January!
